With temperatures rising, we’re dreaming of poolside cocktails. Here at Perennials, it’s common knowledge our cocktail of choice is Ann’s Ranch Water. If you aren’t familiar, Ranch Water is a Texas cocktail concocted with 3 simple ingredients. All you need is lime, top quality tequila and Topo Chico. Our friends at Flecha Azul teamed up with us to create Ann’s Ranch Water recipe, a favorite of our fearless leader, Ann Sutherland.

Ann’s Ranch Water

What you’ll need:

• Fine tequila like Flecha Azul
• Topo Chico (or sparkling mineral water of your choice)
• Lime juice
• Salt (optional for rim)

Optional (but Ann highly recommends) – salt rim of glass. Pour 2 oz. of tequila over ice. Add 4 oz. of Topo Chico. Finish with juice of half a lime. Stir and enjoy!
