Sutherland lava stone is a very rare material found amongst the other beauties in Southern Italy and quarried near Naples in the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius.

The main characteristic that makes our stone unique is its uniformity and beauty that does not fade away with time. This resistance to the elements is attributable to its extremely low porosity; a feature not found in most types of lava stone.
